כפרגמנט זר לסביבה; הפס הלבן מאבד מכוחו הסמכותי.
קולז' כביש (פרגמנט) חושף את תחושת הזרות והבדידות שקיימת בתוכי בהקשר הילדות
הקיבוצית. רק דרך פעולה מייצגית שמוציאה לאור תחושות אלו אני מרגישה, באופן
פרדוקסלי, ב'בית'. ה'פרגמנט' קטן, מוצא מהקשרו כחלק מכביש (מדומין), חסר המשכיות,
מוטל זרוק בחצר הקיבוץ. הקיום שלו ארעי, קצר טווח. המוסך שממול הוא עצמו סככה,
מבנה ארעי שהיה קיים כל שנות חיי (52), ואפילו תחנת הדלק שנבנתה כמה שנים יותר
מאוחר לא מעניקה תחושת יציבות. הצילום מצליח 'לתפוס' תחושה של ארעיות. הקיבוץ
כארוע זמני, חולף. או מתחייה?

Here the collage looks like a
fragment, alien to the surrounding; the white line loses it authoritative
power. Road collage (fragment) reveals feelings of alienation and
loneliness which emerge in the context of my kibbutz childhood. It is only
through this performative action which allows these feelings to come to the
surface of consciousness, that paradoxically, I feel ‘at home’. This little ‘fragment’
is taken out of its context as a (imaginary) road, lacks continuity; left on
the kibbutz’s yard. Its existence is temporary, short lived. The garage
opposite, not more than a temporary structure, was there all my life (52), and
even the little petrol station which was built years later, fail to create a
feeling of stability. This photograph captures a feeling of temporality. Is the
kibbutz a momentarily, passing event? Or is it rejuvenating itself?
